Do I need Pastoral Supervision or Leadership Coaching?
Coaches and Pastoral Supervisors employ similar skills: attentive listening and deep question asking.
Both use frameworks to stop the conversation from wandering aimlessly.
Where Coaching concentrates on helping you move from A to B with a particular issue, Supervision is a more reflective space where you have a chance to think about your work and how you might approach things in the future. For both Supervision and Coaching sessions you are asked to bring a particular issue or topic to discuss.
Pastoral Supervision
Pastoral Supervision can help you bring your best self to work for the sake of those you work with, and those you work for.
Regular sessions (usually monthly) enable you to be supported in your work so you can flourish.
Leadership Coaching
Coaching helps you think and plan a way forward. It’s ideal for those who are stuck, overwhelmed or facing transition.
One session can be helpful but a series of 3 – 5 sessions over 4 – 6 months will give you better results.
